Among Those Essential Christian Doctrines, We Believe…
WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
WE BELIEVE that there is only one God eternally manifested in the person of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, in His vicarious and atoning sacrifice through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension and in His future personal return in power and glory upon the earth.
WE BELIEVE that the gift of Salvation is free from God and requires only a conscious and heartfelt choice on your part to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as he died for our sins. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.” And that the Blood of Christ covers ALL sin for those who accept his gift.
And as a result WE BELIEVE, that while Salvation is not dependent upon our good works, our faith in Christ Jesus will manifest itself in our lives through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit therefore resulting in a lifestyle as in, James 2:17-18 "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works."
Furthermore, WE BELIEVE in a literal and eternal hell. The only ones destined to dwell there are those who have not embraced God's gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We DON'T believe that God "sends" anyone to hell, but ironically enough, people choose to go to hell rather than accept God's free gift of Salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ…. even “good” people.
